I love this little coffee shop. Cute interior, great coffee and nibbles and friendly staff. Whenever I am in the area, I have to pick up a coffee and baked good. Their paninis are delicious as well, so grab one while you are there.
Really cute cafe, the decor was on point. I tried the mazapan latte and it was good but not amazing. There were mazapan chunks at the bottom which was a nice touch but everything else about the latte was pretty average. However, I tried my friend's Honey and Cinnamon latte and it was absolutely amazing. I guess I just ordered the wrong thing, I would definitely go back to get that drink next time.
Love their horchata cold brew so much that took a uber there from old town, and sad to see they were closed. And mmm their flan is so yummy! Hope they are ok.
I decided to come here one morning. Was looking for a coffee shop to go to that I haven't been to before. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Liked how they have a variety when it comes to the menu and drinks. Would definitely come back again. The people were helpful and kind.
Staying in North Park this week and had to get a coffee...Dang was this place cool and the coffee and food delicious! Tony was so patient with the small line, but with everything he served it was great (you could tell the other patrons were happy). He is a nice guy and served great coffee and panini ;)
On a mission to find great Mexican coffee this coffeehouse had delicious coffee and the BEST customer service. I have never felt so appreciated and welcomed. Located as a dual business the coffeehouse side has the cool cultural vibe we were looking for. My husband told the Barista his likes and he made him a special coffee fit to his liking. It wasn't his usual cafe de la olla but it was delicious. I definitely recommend this spot
Amazing aesthetic! love the sugar skull theme (dia de los muertos) Food, we had the chicano panini (delicious!) the Mexican hot chocolate, the mazapan latte and a concha. Everything was up to the expectations and exceeded them. The staff made me feel at home, very welcoming and comforting. The business also has a bonus barbershop where you can go and have a haircut while your girl has her coffee. The place has outside seating and inside. It is pretty small but has plenty of seating.
It was time to revisit Día Del Cafe for some cafecito AND OMG I can't believe I've been sleeping on them for the last few years. The first time I've been here was precovid while I was in grad school. It was so grounding and uplifting to visit again. The delicious mexican flavors in their drinks, the welcoming energy, and the beautiful art from local artists make this place a gem. It offered me a true sense of community, representation, and connection. A great place take your laptop to get work done with some sweet treats, especially in there outdoor seating area. You won't be disappointed!
Best coffee taste and options Best owner and vibe Best decorations that match the name Best friendly and efficient service with smiles Best homemade desserts that match the theme This place just reeks of quality and care and makes me feel like I'm a guest in someone's home. Thanks Tony for doing it right and spreading joy and love and excellence!!
I've been here a few times and will continue to come! Dia Del is a Mexican inspired cafe with Mexican inspired menu items. The decor is so cute and homey, and the owner Tony is the best! He will always start a conversation with you and he's so cool to catch up with if you're a frequent visitor. I ordered the Miel y Canela Latte (Honey & Cinnamon) and it's definitely my favorite from here. If you can, try it with oat milk! I also got a Butter Sugared Croissant and it tastes like the type of pastry your mom would warm up and give you after coming home from a bad day at school. Parking is never a struggle if you drive around for a minute or two. The main street where the cafe is located has 2 hour limit parking, but I drive into the neighborhood either to the left or right for parking that isn't limited. I usually can find a spot easily, especially on a weekday in the middle of the day. Totally remote work friendly too! When you first walk in, it might seem like the outlets aren't accessible but there's always some hiding around. I sat outside and charged my laptop by reaching through the window to an outlet inside of the cafe. If you're in the North Park area and need some coffee, you will not regret coming here!!
